As much as I like the Chipmunks, while watching my sometimes flagging interest made it clear that I had pretty much outgrown them.

Audience Reviews for Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein

Wacky adventures ensue when Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein in this hilariously fun romp. While performing at a local amusement park, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore run across Dr. Frankenstein and his monster at the spookhouse; as the Doctor has been hired by the park manager to frighten up the attraction. The music is surprisingly good and is quite catchy. Also, the animation is really sharp and colorful. Still, some of the humor is rather broad and the jokes can be a little juvenile. Yet for a kid's film, Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein is entertaining and has some clever satire.

It's just a costumed character. It's not real. Alvin and the Chipmunks join an amusement park where they sing and perform. Dr. Frankenstein is also working at the amusement park and secretly working on a science project of sorts, one that could bring the dead to life. When the boys stumble onto to the experiment their lives become at risk. Can Alvin and the boys make nice with the new monster roaming the park? "Over my dead body." "You came to the right place." Kathi Castillo, director of Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Wolfman, and episodes from the television series Ultimate Book of Spells and Firehouse Tales, delivers Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Frankenstein. The storyline for this picture is very mediocre, cliché, and lacking. The animation is just okay and nothing special. "We remind you to take heed and be cautious because there are things out there." This was recently added to the Netflix queue for the Halloween season so I added it to the list to watch with my daughter. She enjoyed it for the most part from beginning to end and chuckled here and there. Overall, this is an average addition to the genre but worth watching during the holiday season. "I think we will make it frightening enough..." Grade: C

Not as good as the first Halloween special, I can't remmeber much of what happened except for a lot of slapsticks that went on.
