Deeply moving story of an American family struggling under the enormous weight of our broken immigration system. Well acted and entertaining but also offering a needed perspective on what needs to change if we want to have a truly humane and fair immigration system. You'll root for everyone in the movie!

AMERICA'S FAMILY sheds a light on what an undocumented immigrant family goes through when deportation tears them apart. It displays a raw and heartfelt look at a situation that many people do not understand, and the effects it could have on a family.

This movie was incredible! Living in a border community and having family on both sides of the border, I can honestly say that this movie has perfectly captured the immigrant experience. I hope to see more movies from this incredible director and that cover this important subject matter for our community.

This movie is a must see! It takes you into the real life view of one family and portrays the challenges of what government laws are doing to divide families in the US. So many heartbreaking stories, and also adds a real vision of hope. Thanks to CHIRLA, for the work they are continuing to do, and to Director, Anike Tourse, for bringing us a bright spot in a dark winter.
