Critic Reviews for An Insignificant Harvey

All Critics (4) | Top Critics (2) | Fresh (2) | Rotten (2)

  • Kopas's script never manages to set the dramatic wheels in motion. Instead, we get a Sundance-like, episodic quirk-a-thon.

    Nov 4, 2011 | Rating: 2/4 | Full Review…
  • Kopas makes the most of a limited budget while giving Prentice room to shine. But the deliberate oddball factor distracts from the job at hand.

    Nov 3, 2011 | Rating: 2/4 | Full Review…
  • Prentice makes the most of his close-up in An Insignificant Harvey, creating a believable outsider and giving him a soul.

    Nov 4, 2011 | Rating: 3/5
  • It's a wobbly construction, swinging between credible character development and clumsy plotting, but the genuinely sweet chemistry between Prentice and Adams holds the whole thing together.
