Warhol, it is made clear, was his own creation: QED, he only has himself to blame. Various pseudo intellectuals and poseurs leave semen stains on the lens. I give my third of a star for the wonderful pictures depicted from Warhol's graphic and fine art of the 1950's. Sadly the documentary is right about one thing: Warhol did represent late 20th C America
an incredible deep documentary portrait of one of the most notable artists of the twentieth century. a very, very long doc that encompasses his entire life, and really feels that it doesn't leave anything out. for fans of warhol or art, this is an interesting watch.
a four-hour long documentary amusing to watch. It gives an interesting insight of Warhol early career as a commercial artist/ illustrator. Full of interviews, footage from the Factory. It drwas a different light on who Warhol really was... Will be screened at the BFI on 7 Sept 2007.
