Sharply uneven, Miller's debut is a grim, occasionally haunting Southern Gothic tale about mental illness seen from the POV of a young girl whose childhood evokes both dreams and demons; Ellen Kuras deservedly won the Sundance Fest's Cinematography Prize

Definitely worth looking at if you're a Vincent Gallo fan, and even if you're not, it's still a pretty original and decent film.
