Audience Reviews for Annahat

Sometimes I wonder how a film makes it to my to see list, This film is such the case. My guess a person who stars in this also was in the outstanding film named: Lagaan, for which you can see my review for that 5 Star film here on Flixster. Anyway this is what is know as a Bollywood film from Eros Entertainment , And my 2 1/2 star rating is once again unfair because this is sort of a chick flick. 2 in a row, how can that be. Anyway the ancient kingdom of Malla has a problem, the king is impotent and the Senators of the kingdom what the queen to have a child, so she must sleep with another man in order for this to happen, (My Question how do I get in this contest). Anyway 3/4 of the movie is spent showing how the queen is upset because she doesn't want to be unfaithful to her king, (Good Queen). We also see the kings part as he is also Upset because like any man he doesn't want his wife to be unfaithful. Well she finally goes thru with it, and guess what its the best night of sex she ever had and she wants more. Yea leave it to Bollywood to come up with that one. One thing for sure costumes are outstanding, and so is the queen. But 2 1/2 stars in my book.

Here's an interesting movie that is definitely set out for femmes everywhere. Great story plot that surrounds, and psychologically tests the relationship of a royal couple. The two have tried to have a child for several years, but without luck the royal council demands that the queen seek another mate for procreation. This creates tension in the trust between them, and opens another worldly spectrum for the queen. Worth seeing.
