Borgnine delivers another effective performance! Though it feels like a made-for-TV movie, this one is well paced & hits its marks. Surprisingly, Shepherd is the only one not fully into character. Also watch for the beguiling Amber Benson to steal a few scenes.
Very good story, great cast and excellent directorial effort!
Compelling drama featuring some outstanding performances by a legendary cast. Ernest Borgnine was strong, and I was particularly impressed with Anne Meara's blend of humor and serious drama. Amber Benson did an excellent job helping a younger generation relate to the story as the grandaughter torn between taking an opportunity far away or staying home to care for her grandmother with dementia. Well worth seeing!
