Pat Boone plays a "bad" boy sent to a farm for rehab in this pleasant but wholesome musical, in which the title song was Oscar nominated and very popular at the time.

A harmless piffle in which Pat Boone plays the least likely juvenile delinquent in film history.

Audience Reviews for April Love

½

Cream cheese musical with Pat Boone doing his Elvis lite routine. Innocuous film has a few nice songs, good production values and old pros Nolan and O'Connell in support plus an appealing Shirley Jones singing beautifully. Boone however is just to lightweight to carry a movie and so the picture has a vacuum at it's center.
