I liked this popular superhero TV movie based on DC Comics as Justin Hartley was the best choice to play the title role. The special effects are very impressive for the pilot and it does a great job of introducing the characters.
It seems that we're going to witness a kind of modern fairytale, involving an exiled prince from the legendary Atlantis, facing evil of his own people. Unnatural behavior, inhuman powers, morphing, and so on are at the rendezvous, deploying a minimum of creativity and imagination that should keep this show tuned, and satisfy the thirst of modern aquatic stories for more than one.
Adrianne Palicki, who will appear as the title role of 2011 TV movie, Wonder Woman, was gorgeous and sexy as the villianous Siren in her outfit.
This is a really good pilot for a rejected tv show. It didn't make it to air due to lack of quality but only because doing it as a weekly show would be too expensive.
The story for the episode is strong and does a good job setting up what would have been a fun show to watch.
You can find this pilot on the BluRay for Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
