Movie is actually good! Strong acting, clear motivation, genuine rage and unexpected ending. No obvious plot-holes.

Wow. Uwe has really stepped up his game. The actual assault doesn’t start till over an hour into the film. The first hour is a slow burn of this guys financial downfall. It’s not like Taxi Driver but more reliable.

The revenge exacted matches the violence of unfettered capitalism. It's what happens when the neck gets tired of being stood upon; THE feel-good movie for the wealth-producers, the 99%.

Although it is a fictional movie it has good action scenes and very nice acting.

A very violent action thriller with Dominic Purcell - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The violence will likely put a load of people off, it isn't a feel-good story and it isn't exactly criticising murder. I, personally, don't think it's necessarily a film's job to teach right and wrong - otherwise every film would be the same. 'Assault on Wall Street' pulls no punches, as they thoroughly commit to making Jim an extremist. They do a solid job at making you care for him initially and to understand his ideology, obviously not to the point where you believe he is a hero or anything. It does stagnate a little when building up Purcell's character, but when the gritty action arrives it turns into a bloody mess which is entertaining to watch. Purcell himself is very good, both physically and emotionally. Elsewhere, Erin Karpluk (Rosie) plays her part well whilst there are roles for recognisable trio John Heard (Jeremy), Keith David (Freddy) and Eric Roberts (Louis). Heard and Roberts are very underused, though. Not the greatest film, it has issues like the poor camera work, editing and dialogue, but if you want a film with heavy, firefight scenes then it's certainly worth viewing. It doesn't really water anything down.

Very cathartic movie. A must see, if you’ve ever lost money in thy the stock market. Good acting and story.

There is an obvious hint at a sequel in the main character's last line, which incidentally points to EXACTLY who is most responsible for the 2008+ havoc: The Government in DC. Assault on DC is the obvious follow-up with perhaps a third global movie to finish the trilogy: Assault on Davos.

This was actually a very well made movie with a great performance by Edward Furlong. Not sure why he Isn't still a bigger star or getting better roles. Hope to see him back on his feet again soon, such an amazing actor

Great subject matter. I wish someone would do this, for real.

The initial storyline is quite good and relatable....then it all goes to shit from there. Which is quite a shame. The movie had lots of potential
