Feb 19, 2012Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a fine comedy horror flick that spoofs the monster genre of films. The premise of this film is simple, yet somewhat effective. This film is one of the most underrated comedy horror flicks that I've seen. This is a good film that doesn't deserve the flack it has received, sure the film is ridiculous, but it intentionally does it. Everything about the film is over the top. The film plays out like a parody, and it does it very well. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is one of the most original horror comedies I've seen. This is the perfect comedy horror flick for the horror fan looking for a ridiculous B movie. This film is quite underrated and should be seen as a good B movie that spoofs 1950's monster flicks. The film is one of the most original horror comedies and is pure fun from start to finish. Everything you see is done on purpose, and that's what makes this what it is. I can't state this enough, this is a good B movie that is a definite must see for fans of comedy horror. The acting is cheesy, and the premise is more than just silly. If you enjoy a good, cheesy comedy horror flick, then look no further than this film. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is good fun, despite the fact that its beyond silly. If you're going into this film expecting a great film, you'll be sadly disappointed. On the other hand, if you're expecting a film that's so bad, it's good then this is definitely your film. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is one memorable comedy horror flick that delivers a great time. A flawed film, but definitely enjoyable.

Oct 15, 2011Stupid and cheesey to the max, but still manages to deliver some genuinely funny bits and pieces. Ultimately tries a little too hard though, and more times than not the humour just falls flat. The whole things loses its charm by the half way point too, and stops being funny altogether. Yeah not much else to say about this one. Couldn't have really been better. The premise is just too thin, and there isn't enough here to spread across the length of an entire movie. I found this a little offensive actually, as it really is just poking fun at low budget horror. Some of us actually think that independent horror is a lot more pure and truthful form of expression than big budget bullshit. Ah well, take it for what it is. Intentional retardation, and post modernist sarcastic fluff.

Sep 06, 2010This movie is hilarious. It's sort of a spoof on the giant animal/insect craze of the 50s, but it's also funny in other ways too. If you love spoof movies or goofy comedies in general, I highly recommend this one.
