This movie could have been 100 minutes, but the extra 30 minutes just messed it up. The acting was also poor. Except for Hashmi, everyone’s performance was underwhelming. And my God, the action scenes were just bad. I think some scenes were done in one take, so that’s why those scenes felt so bad. The positive point has to be the music. The music of the movie just saved it from being a bad movie and turned it into an okayish watch. Some emotional scenes work too. Overall, it’s a disappointing sequel that just tries to use the nostalgia factor. It feels like a more commercial sequel that relies heavily on the emotional connection people already have with the original. I wouldn't call it garbage because there are still some enjoyable moments, but overall it doesn't feel particularly special or memorable.
