This only got a 10 from me and this was a mercy rating due to the concept alone. The movie had a nice idea but failed to deliver, or even leave the oven. The scene opens up with a shaky cheap camera and a very over used "teens in the back of a car" scenario. This follows up with the actress saying the famous line, "Did you hear something?" Boring, predictable, stupid acting. When suddenly our hormonal actor is ripped from the open car window by some unknown force. Our actress presses against the door and peers out the window, only stare in horror as her boyfriend is killed by a werewo- ...what? No, no. It's a shirtless guy with furry arm warmers and one of those ball caps that look like a cartoon charecters face. After that my DVD player commited suicide. The movie is the bastard child created out of the success envy of Twilight's good looks, and Underworld's action.
I started watching this and gave the movie its chance to impress me. From the starting point I couldn't have guessed what was going to happen or what was going on. See, I don't read the synopsis until after I watch the movie, it makes it more interesting for me. The beautiful young woman who stars in this film portrays a strong female role, in which I think more movies should have. Neowolf had a great soundtrack and I didn't watch it thinking it was a low budget film. It kept me interested at the good parts and left me guessing what was going to happen next. This is one movie you should not judge by its cover.
A great idea for a horror movie: a traveling rock band populated by werewolves. If only the movie lived up to the concept. Paul Chambers, CNN.
