Movie Info

The Bangles' slick and distinctive four-way harmony pop sent them to mega-stardom and the top of the charts in the 1980s. After the band broke up in 1989, they reunited 10 years later and released the album DOLL REVOLUTION. This live concert was recorded in September 2000 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, and features the original lineup of Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, Vicki Peterson, and Michael Steele. For their hometown return, the band plays a varied set, featuring many hit singles spanning the last two decades. RETURN TO BANGLEONIA includes 18 tracks, from number one songs "Walk Like An Egyptian" and "Eternal Flame," to "Hero Takes A Fall" from their debut album, ALL OVER THE PLACE. They also perform fan favorites "Manic Monday" from the multi-platinum album A DIFFERENT LIGHT, and "In Your Room" from 1988's LP EVERYTHING. Moreover, the set includes the covers of Simon and Garfunkel' s "Hazy Shade of Winter," The Seeds' "Pushin' Too Hard," and Big Star's "September Gurls."
