It’s particularly disappointing that Lanthimos pivots to pointless, ugly violence before a bizarre conclusion that quashes a potentially absorbing debate, short circuited by a characteristic inability to pursue intelligent elaboration. Go to Full Review

Bugonia should be funny as hell. But in this age when no belief is too absurd to thrive on social media, the premise seems too normal to be funny. I wanted to introduce Teddy to someone I know who believes in clones-among-us, so they could talk shop. Go to Full Review

Bill T. @btreakle Dec 31 “Begonia “ This movie starring Emma Stone retired begonia was a pretty good film. I would argue wanna Emma stones best performances in a movie good. This had all the makings of a psychological thriller kidnapping and just playing craziness. But without giving up too much of the film just have to say that this one here was probably one of the craziest abduction movies I’ve ever seen. I mean it seems that the other characters in this film were just completely off their rocker brought me to the very end. But you have to watch the full film to get the ending on this and I highly recommend this to anybody that likes him and stone and psychological thrillers. Big, heavy tension when a man is simply walking on grass with his back towards the camera cuts to nothing. Don’t think it’s Oscar worthy at all although Emma Stone’s work was good as always. It mostly sucked for two hours with grim scenes and gross violent images. See more Read all reviews
