A mysterious woman on holiday in Quebec strikes up an inappropriate relationship with a lonely fourteen year old girl, in the process initiating the young innocent into a world that she may not yet be prepared to experience. Betty (Carina Caputo) is an exotic beauty with a clouded past. Upon checking into her hotel in small-town Quebec, Betty strikes up a conversation with hotel employee Lea (Charlotte Legault). A gawky and needy teen who's anxious to experience new things in life, Lea quickly falls under Betty's oblique spell and begins accompanying her to parties where the kids are slightly older, the booze flows freely, and a variety of other intoxicants are freely shared. Initiated into a world of overindulgence she may not yet be prepared to handle, Lea forms a close bond with Betty despite the fact that their friendship may be greatly detrimental to her own well-being. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
