An example showing how a potential premise being ruined by the lousy execution (directing + writing).
This movie is a bit slow at first, but near the end the plot comes together and shows love on all journeys of life. It shows all shades of love and at the end it had me in tears.
Not bad. Had it's moments. Interested in checking out the TV series now.
An anthology of love story that all happen in Beijing at the same time frame for some specific reasons but it leaves an after taste of undesirable effects
'Beijing Love Story' is almost like 5 chick flicks in 2 hours. Read full review: http://goo.gl/HYmxkX
Some part of this movie maybe crazy, but the real life is actually crazier.
This is cinema at it's technical best. Beijing has never looked more glamorous, from the historic sights, the neighborhood houtongs and the modern marvels. But more impressive is the light shining on the actors, which helps us pick up every nuanced expression of this highly talented ensemble cast. By the end of the last story, there was not a dry eye in the audience. Highly recommended for everyone, even the romantic cynics.
