Movie Info

Dan Brown's best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code has sparked in many readers a new interest in the aspects of the life of Jesus and his contemporaries that don't appear in the Bible. Thanks to the book's success, new questions have been raised about the true nature of the relationship between Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene, the fates of their descendants, how the Catholic church may have sought to suppress certain information, and whether or not the truth of this story can be gleaned from clues hidden in the work of Leonardo da Vinci. How much of this is true, false, or somewhere in between? Produced for the A&E cable network, Time Machine: Beyond the Da Vinci Code takes a look at these and other allegations and legends tied into the themes of Brown's books and stacks them up against the facts known to historians and archaeologists.

Very interesting. Another evidence of doubt to give the religiously handicaped individuals cause for anger and hate because it threatens their belief. In "Beyond the Da Vinci Code" they were discussing things that supported the idea that Jesus was more human than religion makes him out to be. That's what the whole movie was about. No one can say for sure what is true or what is not true. We can only say what we believe to be true. The only way to find the truth is to forget what we believe.
