Movie Info

Controversial comic Bill Maher -- former firebrand host of the popular panel show "Politically Incorrect" -- pushes buttons once again in this 2005 stand-up performance, taking swings at George W. Bush, Arnold Schwarzenegger, rap lyrics, marijuana laws, gay marriage, hypocrisy and more. Embarrassed by the state of American politics (and harboring a secret desire to be Swiss), the outspoken comedian skewers the system with acerbic zeal.

In "I'm Swiss" Bill covers the Bush Administration, the war on terror, marijuana laws, rap lyrics, and more. Although I agree with his stance on just about everything, he goes on a little long with his ranting sometimes and his facts aren't always accurate. Still, there's lots of great material in this stand up routine DVD and his delivery and timing are right on. The highlight was the translation of rap lyrics for white people which was hilarious!

*sigh* Bill Maher...so contradictory, and yet so funny! His show on HBO isn't the best, but this routine was pretty funny. Anything to bash the Prez I am all good for!
