There are good ideas and bits to be found herein, but the long premises don't seem very kind to Bill Burr. "Walk Your Way Out", at almost 80 minutes, is a tad plodding, not particularly exciting and overall merely chuckle-worthy. The attempts at edgier jokes are welcome but wane in comparison to the concentrated intelligence typically found in the raw material of comedians like Louis C.K. or George Carlin. See more 02/18/2020 While one part of a joke revolving around a gorilla didn't really have me laughing (this is practically nitpicking), this stand-up special still left me laughing a lot thanks to Bill Burr's politically incorrect, no-holds-barred sense of humour where I felt he honestly made some good points. Not everybody's going to be on board with what he has to say about obesity, McDonald's and dictatorship but I do agree with him on those first two.
