For the more hardcore Resident Evil fans. The animation isn't very good, being similar to that of a early video game, but considering the time this was made, it's excusable. It's only 20 minutes long, so you can't expect a lot of details. It's more of a really long cut scene to an unplayable game, I'm not too sure what the 4D stands for, but I guess it had something to do with the original attraction. There's a lot of blood, and your typical scares. It probably wouldn't interest typical RE viewers much, nor would it stand out much to fans of the video games.

I read on Wikipedia that this movie was featured at a Japanese theme park. I dunno, something about this film doesn't strike me as "happiest place on Earth" material. It looks like the kind of bonus cinema you'd see at the end of one of the many Resident Evil games. Biohazard 4 is very similar to the first Resident Evil film: a bunch of military guys go into a zombie-infested area to retrieve Dr. Chameleon, but foremost, her research. Violence, horror and gore ensue of course. I have to tip my hat to whoever wrote this short film because it was very well-done. There were a couple of twists I wasn't expecting that made the film very worthwhile. Definitely worth the 20 minutes.
