A third year law student with a promising future finds his life suddenly thrust down a dark path after popping the big question to his girlfriend and becoming caught up in circumstances beyond their control. Trevor Taylor is a student at the top of his class. He hasn't even graduated from law school, yet the biggest firms in the city are already calling to recruit him. One night, after planning the perfect evening, Trevor takes his girlfriend to the place where they first met in order to propose to her. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a gun-wielding thug attempts to rob the couple, and Trevor somehow turns the tables on his attacker.
