Movie Info

Steve Oedekerk, who directed the popular Star Wars parody Thumb Wars: The Phantom Cuticle, puts his hands on another popular film with this spoof. Three student filmmakers -- who just happen to be thumbs with animated faces -- get lost in the woods, and as they try to make their way back to civilization, they're faced with a number of spooky (and funny) setbacks. When not busy satirizing popular films with a cast of thumbs, Steve Oedekerk has written screenplays for a number of big-screen comedies, including Patch Adams, The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

Simple fun.

Cute little thumb version of "The Blair Witch Project", a movie which has faded from pop-culture already. It was probably a good idea at the time, but something more enduring should've been parodied. The Blair Witch doesn't really parody well.
