Bleeding manages to be both a very solid horror movie and an impressive allegory for addiction. No matter your reason for tuning into this film, it is worth your time. Go to Full Review

Bleeding is a bloody, dark vision of a crime drama with vampires, and should find some room in cult classic rotations in the years ahead. Go to Full Review

Bleeding is an independent vampire flick that attempts to shake up the genre with drama and politics, but the result lacks any real bite. Go to Full Review

The third act is filled with blood and death and all of it is because of a powerful drug. It may not be a typical vampire movie, but Bleeding is just as terrifying. Go to Full Review

The characters are well-written, and the cast brings them to life in a most wonderful way. Go to Full Review

Bleeding isn’t scared to soak in the ugliness of addiction, but its treatment of this subject matter is both profound and lackluster. The film has something intriguing to say, but ends up saying it in the blandest way imaginable. Go to Full Review

Stephen C @bob25009 2d Success in 1 hour and 38 minutes. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 2 Bleeding begins with a dark, intense premise filled with drugs, violence, and psychological tension, immediately setting up what could be a memorable horror experience. Early sequences are gripping, creating suspense and curiosity as the story unfolds. However, the screenplay quickly loses focus, with scenes meandering and tension failing to land effectively, flattening the narrative. Direction is inconsistent, with some atmospheric moments undermined by poorly executed sequences that disrupt pacing. The cast delivers solid performances but is limited by uneven writing, preventing full character development. Horror elements falter due to inconsistent tone and underdeveloped plot points. Despite flashes of creativity, weak writing, uneven direction, and pacing issues prevent Bleeding from realizing its potential. Fans of horror may find moments of interest, but the film ultimately falls short of being the cohesive, intense thriller it aims to be. See more Chuck B @Chazz77 Oct 10 This was a pleasant surprise. The movie develops the relationship between two cousins, one a junkie, the other a stoner. Deliberate pacing allows the characters to be fleshed out. Every actor performs like a seasoned vet, yet this is the first movie for each. An art house feel that is never pretentious, rather genuine. There is a believability that vampires really do exist in this reality. If you're looking for wall to wall action with lots of blood, this may not be your cup of blood. Highly recommended. See more Megan K @RT42600926 Aug 4 The plot/premise had a lot of potential, but it was lacking. See more Peter F @Pfit1990 Jul 23 I didn't enjoy it, felt like a B-movie type.
