Movie Info

Mr. Dithers offers the Bumsteads a chance to live in an old mansion in this comical entry in the long-running "Blondie" series. They are even to have their own servants. Unbeknownst to Blondie and Dagwood, Mr. Dithers wants them there to prove that the place isn't haunted so he can sell it for a tidy profit. But it soon becomes apparent that Dithers is wrong, as strange, supernatural events begin plaguing the little family.

THE BLONDIE SERIES IS SO MUCH FUN. THIS IS ONE OF THE BETTER FILMS IN THE SERIES. BLONDIE AND DAGWOOD ARE SPOOKED IN A SUPPOSEDLY HAUNTED HOUSE.

Another horror-comedy-mystery in an old spooky house. This is the same Blondie you know from the Sunday comics, except she wasn't as nice and shapely as the drawings (which, admittedly, is the main reason I read the comics when I was 6, 7, 8 years old!). Blondie wants to have servants like the neighbors do, but cannot afford them because Dagwood cannot get a raise. His boss says Dagwood can act as caretaker of an estate house which does have servants which get Blondie excited. When the Bumsteads arrive at the home, spooky things start to happen and they suspect they are being chased off. Goofy, light-hearted, but not without a fright or three. Spoiler - he actually gets a raise at the end!
