It has this really good story but they did nothing with it except become a typical action blockbuster. No expansion...and it's not that solid or entertaining, they just don't follow through with their great ideas ...

It's too bad that "Bloodshot" doesn't seem up to the task of fully skewering its genre and finding something new in the process, instead relying on resurrecting the dead for another bout of briefly diverting entertainment.

Full of tired clichés, cardboard characters, and a lack of filmmaking panache, Bloodshot never delivers anything that makes it stand out from the crowd.

Bloodshot is painfully predictable, but cult status awaits on the other side of the coronavirus era.
March 24, 2020
Despite some enjoyable action scenes, Bloodshot fails to bring anything new to the superhero genre, and Valiant's wannabe MCU is already off to a disappointing and disastrous start (Vin Diesel, meanwhile, needs to stick to Fast & Furious).

The only bright spot in this movie is Lamorne Morris.

The movie as a whole, the action I didn't care about, there was no adrenaline pump.

a derivative lump of lethargy that taints the thrill of the plot twist, and renders an action sequence in plummeting elevators dully predictable

Overall, though - I didn't 'dislike' it - But please, guys... don't make me have to watch a Ninjak movie.

Lamorne Morris' comic relief is a balm for the inanity around him.

It is a shame that 'Bloodshot' doesn't work, because all the elements the fans want are there. Too bad the story couldn't hold up its end of things.

...relentlessly convoluted. The bio-engineered banality featured in Diesel's vanity film project will make one's weary eyes reflect this indulgent action thriller's movie title.
March 18, 2020
[A]n utter misfire of a movie, an attempt at franchise-building that fails to even build a workable foundation...it's difficult to articulate just how completely everyone involved missed the target. Bloodshot should have bled out.

Same old same old. Vin Diesel is rough and tough but there is no character development of any type. The action is there but everything else is MIA.
March 18, 2020
Bloodshot is based on a comic that was big in the 90s, and fittingly it feels out of date and too dull to spend much time on.
March 17, 2020
Overall, Bloodshot is a decent attempt that scores on its ambitious sci-fi imagination and a superhero, who is always ready for action.

In short, one more step for equality between man and machine, although not so much for gender equality. [Full review in Spanish]

Bloodshot attempts to do something different, but retains so many of the clichés its predecessors have befallen to.

Give Vin Diesel credit for trying to break away from the "Fast and Furious" mold but his emotional convictions aren't good enough to sell the weight of the picture.
