Petros T @PetrosTserpelis 05/10/2023 Michelle Handelman's "BloodSisters" is a very interesting look at the San Fransisco leatherdyke scene of the early to mid-nineties that focuses on the people who were actually there - it's certainly intriguing and, at its best, even empowering to hear them share their experiences, thoughts and opinions. On the downside, it doesn't pack much of an emotional punch (it doesn't try to) and is more of a static account than a dynamic story, two facts that arguably keep it from becoming really great.
