Poorly acted tale about a Big Foot type creature roaming the Arkansas wilderness whilst being tracked by four university naturalists. Not sure whether this was an attempt at a comedy or a film to be taken seriously! It works better as a humourously bad comedy for sure. For all its awfulness it's still a likable little film. One to have a laugh at. Old man Crenshaw rules!

The cheese factor here is HIGH and I suggest watching the MST3000 version if you can get it, as it added to the fun. My favorite scene was one in which our protagonist tells a VERY detailed story (via flash back of course) about one man's encounter with "the beast". When he is finished recounting the tale he sums up the victims story by saying "he was unconscious when they found him and never came out of his coma, so no one knows what happened to him that night." : P
