Bohemian Rhapsody hits a handful of high notes, but as an in-depth look at a beloved band, it offers more of a medley than a true greatest hits collection. Read critic reviews

Nov 07, 2019I wasn't a fan of Bohemian Rhapsody before watching this film and I'm not one after having watched it. But regarding the movie, it's very plain and dull. Nothing worth knowing or watching. Straight Outta Crompton was way better than this.

Mar 13, 2019Entertaining biopic about one of the most popular bands of the 20th century. Considering nothing awfully exciting happened in their history, the film is forced to allow itself some inaccuracies for drama's sake. Most are forgivable, pretending that Live Aid was a flop until Queen started to perform is pretty stupid, though. As far as the cast goes, Malek deserves the praise he has been getting. The rest of the band has less to do but is perfectly cast as well. I also can't say I see the film trying to hide Mercury's homosexuality. The awards praise (Malek excluded) is maybe a bit much, but the film itself is fine.

Mar 03, 2019The music of Queen is such a collection of hits that this alone makes for a good time, but the movie is visually appealing as well. Rami Malek is fantastic along with the rest of the crew, good direction by Bryan Singer. This movie takes you on a wild ride right by the bands side, I loved the insight into thier journey as a band.Super Reviewer

Feb 24, 2019I am sensitive to criticisms from the gay community about how Freddy Mercury's homosexuality is depicted in Bohemian Rhapsody. The film is far from perfect, but I can't deny that I enjoyed Hollywood's version of Queen's successes and struggles.
