Movie Info

The action classic that inspired Ong Bak star Tony Jaa to take up martial arts arrives on stateside shores as director/star Panna Rittikrai unleashes a fury of punishing violence while defeating any adversary who dares step into his path. They thought all of the true masters were dead and gone, but when one long-forgotten master emerges to prove his enemies otherwise, the action flows fast and furious. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

The guys basically drive right into trucks and fling their bodies through billboards with no fear whatsoever. It's pretty wild.

Audience Reviews for Born to Fight

The most redeeming aspect of this little known Thai film is the fact that it inspired Tony Jaa, who has become one of the most exciting martial arts stars in recent history. The production values are what one would expect from a Thai B movie, and having only seen this movie in Thai, I'm not sure what American audiences would be able to take away from it (or how well it has been translated for that matter). This film is probably only worth checking out if you are a fan of Tony Jaa's martial arts style or the metamorphosis of Thai cinema.
