There are alot of what seem to be cringe worthy moments which seem to bring down the film. It does get funny and brings the drama and brings those good what's going to happen next moments it is just a bit strange. It is cute with the animals though and is not a terrible movie and is not a very good one either. I reccomend Green Book, another road trip movie that came out in 2018 and won best picture, especially cause of the way it is shot, but Boundaries is fine. 3 to 3 and a half.
