Whatever, dude. Unlike Moore, I have homes on both sides of the border and it's the Quebec one I keep locked.

I don't like Michael Moore. He cheats. When a film is presented as a documentary we expect some kind of journalistic search for truth ... But questions he raises about guns and violence ...add an immediacy to questions he asks that we all need to answer.

A frustrating film that asks more questions than answers.

Agree with his messages or not, there's no denying the effectiveness of Moore's presentation.

It's both powerful and infuriating, brilliant and facile, hilarious and horrific, witty and demagogic. It's a great movie to argue about.

For all its gallows humor and choked laughter of disbelief, it feels rather soul-sick and bewildered.

It may be more op-ed than journalistic, but that does not distract from the fact that BFC makes for a thoroughly enjoyable, thought provoking film.

Why do Americans seem so inclined to slaughter one another? Once again, Michael Moore has once again waded into some rather murky waters to weigh in on a very thorny subject.

Even if his information is, oh, even 40% false... the ideas he is presenting need to be heard, examined, and reckoned with.

Moore's timing couldn't be better aimed for all Americans to search in their heart of hearts and ask why we live in a pathological gun culture.

Perhaps a world as outrageous as ours deserves a filmmaker as blunt as Michael Moore.

Try and find this film, watch it and talk about it. The issues that it covers are ones that beg to be discussed, and this piece has only scratched the surface.

August 17, 2003 a lively movie that gives us, we believe, a firm grasp on the side of pro-gun control activists while portraying gun rights supporters as purveyors of senseless violence.

Las preguntas y sus posibles respuestas adquieren una dimensión mucho más impactante al ser formuladas por un estadounidense, o sea que la crítica proviene de adentro.

No one would ever mistake Moore for anything but a mudslinging yellow journalist, but sometimes extreme issues require extreme measures.

Michael Moore clearly and convincingly expresses his rage at the way fear, violence and the ignorance they both breed are whittling away this country's soul.
