Audience Reviews for Boy of Pigs

this is re-titled An American Affair and it's coming out next week in NY & LA. Saw a critics screening... it starts off pretty well, and when it focuses on the coming-of-age angle it works fine (even if Cameron Bright is NOT a good actor if he actually has to do a heavy-emotional scene- straight-faced he's really good, and creepy even, as one saw in Birth), but the whole JFK/conspiracy angle loses focus pretty quick and gets contrived. Say what you will about Stone's JFK, at least that let you "not know" with some stunning filmmaking, while this is just.... meh. At least Gretchen Mol is smoking hot.
