Movie Info

Aspiring songwriter Nancy Willows (Constance Towers) takes a leave of absence from the tiny liberal arts college where she teaches music for a shot at fame in New York. Willows secures a deal with a music publisher and begins working with struggling singer Jerry Dennis (Frankie Laine) and composer Marty Adams (Keefe Brasselle). As their creative collaboration grows increasingly fruitful, it threatens Willows' long-distance relationship with her bookish fiancé, David Parker (William Leslie).
