Interesting ultra low budget movie. The budget is almost distracting, but once you get used to it, it is a very very good arthouse indie. Definitely the best Adrian has ever been by far.

Bringing Rain has it's moments. Adrian Grenier's performance puts him at a level above the rest of the cast, his expressions are enough at times when other Actors would need words in the script to express what they are thinking at that moment. Although the movie is dark to the point that it kind seems pretentious- The character development itself was enough to keep me entertained. Watching the girl who played "Alex Mack" on Nickelodeon making out with her brother was an interesting twist to showing the messed up mechanics of their relationship and Paz De La Huerta's seemingly imaginary romance with a movie star makes the viewer think she is nuts- only to find out that she's not as crazy as you think she is. There are times when you are going to think you are watching a commercial film for an Indie Music Compilation because it is a slow dreary movie with long stretches that lack dialogue and action completely.

Weak and boring and tries too hard with the dialogue.

One of the great underrrated indies of the early 2000's. Adrian Grenier in his one great screen performance. Not to mention a pre-Boardwalk Empire Paz de la Huerta with some clothes on and doing actual acting.Throw in music by the late Vic Chesnutt and you have a really strange hybrid of David Lynch, and John Hughes. I loved The Missing Person by Noah Buschel and checked this one out after. It is a great first film. Underapreciated gem.
