Critic Reviews for Brothers Hypnotic
The music throughout is wonderful and you wish there was more of it, including concert footage.
The players' upbringing - which involved early-morning lessons with "Pops," and the presence of two of the three mothers with whom he had children - exerts a fascination.
We see Phil's sons honoring him while going their own ways in a years-long effort to find the right pitch.

Audience Reviews for Brothers Hypnotic
A good but not great documentary about the eight children of Phil Cohran and their attempt to gain stardom for themselves. Without knowing if the riches are at the end of the rags, the documentary leads us to an unsatisfying conclusion.
I got bored. The film did not have a strong narrative. Maybe there were too many people and not enough focus on one. I'd like to see a separate film focused just on Phil Cohran.
