Excellent documentary revealing the making of an epic album. Be prepared to hear the opening riff of "Born To Run" approximately 35 times - give or take - but still, wholeheartedly recommended, for fans of Springsteen and fans of great rock and roll in general.

An interesting, short film that covers the minutiae of the recording of Springsteen's iconic album Born to Run, released upon the record's 30th anniversary in a collectors' box. Good enough, probably only for fans, but an interesting starting point for Thom Zimny, the director, who alongside the Boss and interviewer Edward Norton just premiered a similar, longer film about the next album, Darkness on the Edge of Town (film title: "The Promise") at the Toronto International Film Festival.

This is the best documentary that you can imagine.

Even if your not a Bruce fanatic you will enjoy this! It shows Bruce and the Band in the studio during born to run (in 1974-75) and it gives you a feeling for how much work when in to that record. What really made it a masterpiece.
Born to run was the album were it started, and were still on the road down Thunder Road.

Born to Run is it!

You have to see it!
