Movie Info

A pair of teens attempting to be good Samaritans find their good deeds lead to deadly consequences when their search for help leads them to a menacing forest ranger in this frightful tale that will have you thinking twice about taking that weekend in the woods. The stage is set for a killer backwoods party, but when two teens on their way to a good time spot a beautiful woman (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) having car trouble they promise to help get her back on the road. Though the appearance of forest ranger Bill (David Johansen) seems a blessing at first, the teens are soon taken on a terrifying journey as Ranger Bill gathers them around the campfire for a special round of frightful stories and a deadly game of truth or dare.

Poor production quality, horrible acting, and plot holes galore, this is utterly unwatchable.

Audience Reviews for Campfire Stories

The only redeeming thing about this movie is all of the young stars who would go on to HBO & FX television shows. Mac & Charlie from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the son on Nip/Tuck, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler from the Soprano's. The production value is worthless otherwise.

Fun, dumb, and totally b movie! I recommend this to people who enjoy funny b horror movies like me. Totally unmemorable, but fun to play in the background on a stormy night.

Ranger Bill is up to his old tricks. You know how Batman Begins was great and then Dark Knight just completely set the bar even higher? That's like what this movie is compared to everything else ever created. The stories keep you up at night and the fear can be felt in both your yellow and red marrow. Best Line: "Just when you think you got life by the balls, you try to kill an Indian..."
