Though some of the bits are funny, this is a film that would probably work for an insider in ways that might go right past an outsider.

Mark Leeper's Reviews

There's some fun to be had, even if Cannes Man never achieves the bulls-eye brilliance of Altman's The Player.

Richard Martini really knows Hollywood - if you're a fan of The Player, you'll love this. You'll see more stars in this than you will outside the window of a space ship!

Audience Reviews for Cannes Man

This movie is about a director that finds a man in Cannes turns into a producer introducing to movie stars during the Cannes Film Festival. The movie is boring but has great cameos by various actors Johnny Depp, John Malvoich(?), Chris Penn, James Brolin etc That is the only good part about the movie. I gave it 50 for Johnny and Jim they were funny. Clip with Johnny and Jim
