After the cataclysmic events in New York with his fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans), lives in the nation's capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. An attack on an S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and a new ally, the Falcon, Rogers struggles to expose an ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy.

The best Marvel movie. Part superhero movie, part political thriller. One of the Marvel movies that you can watch as a standalone without worrying too much about the greater universe continuity. Extremely re-watchable as well. Highly recommend!

Tra i film più malinconici dell'universo Marvel c'è il secondo capitolo di Capitan America che mette a nudo tutte le debolezze dello Shield e lo distrugge dall'interno. La sceneggiatura è per certi versi simile al primo Iron Man, con un nemico interno che si cela dapprima e poi si rivela in tutta la sua malvagità, mentre fin da subito viene svelato un altro villain, che poi resta il personaggio più interessante e misterioso del film. Come sempre la CGI è di qualità clamorosa e la presenza di diversi personaggi ed attori importanti rendono il film gradevole in ogni suo aspetto; incluso lo spettacolare combattimento finale.
