Audience Reviews for The Carson City Kid

141112: It's funny how many times Gabby Hayes upstages Roy Rogers in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I like Rogers but Hayes is one memorable character. The story is a bit weak, and I found it slow to start, but once going it's all good. Neat to see a young Noah Beery Jr. playing a more prominent character.

Roy Rogers sings and acts the hero of the West. i like his style, voice, and athleticism. Bob Steele is a tough and ruthless bad guy with piercing dark eyes. Well done.

Not much in the way of musical numbers in this Roy Rogers outing. More action and drama than most. Quite decent Western.
