Movie Info

Range wars in post Civil War Texas provide the basis of this western. The conflict begins when a rich Northerner begins buying up small Texas ranches. The ranchers rebel and an arbitrator is sent in by the governor. The sly peacemaker tricks the townsfolk into giving him their weapons and restoring law and order. But before they do, the greedy Northman is stomped to death during a stampede. Songs include: "Dixie," "Marching through Georgia," "The Bonnie Blue Flag," and "The Cowboy."

A curious black-and-white musical Western by the same team of director Noel Smith and producer Bryan Foy that worked on Dick Foran's musical Westerns.
