This is a great series based on the book by James Michner. Well done and historically accurate to a good degree. Find a good weekend and pop some popcorn and settle in on the couch.

One of the greatest stories, besides of course the Bible! Long but detailed, a beautiful story that spans 2 centuries! Well worth the investment of time to watch, because it shows how society evolved and continues to be corrupt from government to individuals.

One of the most amazing films that you will ever see due to it's length and scope. There's a truly all-star cast to boot.

Epic mini-series that spans generations of families through the development of a Colorado town. The movie is kind of a who's-who of 1970s actors and now that the actors are old (and/or dead) it can be said the make-up was pretty impressive in showing time pass. It originally aired over a few months so sitting down to watch it can be an undertaking (12 episodes with each about 1 1/2 hours) The series is uneven. Some parts are more interesting than other parts, and the ending doesn't quite seem fulfilling. Quite memorable and well done however and can be worth the time.
