See more Dec 19, 2011 Chasing Holden is a story about the teenage Neil Lawrence, who has a writing assignment about the life of Holden Caulfield after Catcher and the Rye. To get the story Neil travels with a friend to find J.D. Salinger and along the way they get themselves into trouble. This film reminds me a lot of the film Ordinary People. The complexity of the character of Neil Lawrence surprised me. This story surprised me even though there were inconsistencies. I guess if you like Catcher in the Rye, it's going to be a better film because they make LOTS of references to correlations because the guy is obsessed!
