Cheerleaders are trapped in a remote wilderness house with an escaped killer on a rampage. According to the credits, this was based on a joke once told by Jim Wynorski and nobody else seems to be taking the film too seriously either.

Total garbage through and through, Cheerleader Massacre is little more than softcore film porn film aspiring to the status of slasher film. A few laughs and the deaths of numerous cheerleaders in no way make up for the film's lack of plot, acting, and everything else.

Shot with a digital video camera the directors daughter got for her 13th birthday, this "sequel" to The Slumber Party Massacre goes down to a new low. Horrible non actors in every role, no real plot or development, and really, this is just soft core porn masquerading as a real movie (and doin' a bad job of it). Includes a lot of shower scenes.

And I thought Part 3 sucked. That was Titanic compared to this crap. there are reasons to aviod this
1) They put Linda in simply for show. This doesnt help the girls nor serve a purpose. She'S pretty but make her avenge her attack not stand there looking like she wants to use the toliet.
2) Russ Thron wasnt shot by the cops Val, Courney and Trish stopped him. What happened he walked out with a blade rammed thu him and the cops got him..GET REAL. The director should had bothered to watch the 1st film instead of insulting us fans.
3) If I want to watch endless shots of naked ladies I would hire a porno. The ladies are hot but I hired a HORROR FLICK
4) Russ is in it but does VERY little thuout the whole film
5) The kills all suck apart from the headless man which was kinda funny but HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
This is a totaly lame attempt to keep Slumber alive but it pisses in the face of the fans and thats unforgiveable. Part 2 came out and looks far more promising.

An interesting film about the killings of cheerleaders, the only dispute I have is the lack of killings and the rather nonchalant use of genre stereotypes like the campfire story in a way that makes it look like it was for the sake of it and nothing else. Overall, it was a fun thrill and a great thrashy fun and has its good moments like the way men behave in this film.

Had some good nudity, but that's about it.

While the added nudity is nice, Jim Wynorski set out here to make a slasher film. Except it isn't much of one. Not that terrible, but could've been better given the good looking talent.

Movie itself maybe 2.5 but special features on the DVD up it to 4

Sexploitation and trash with lousy acting.

Since the concept of ‚??slasher films‚?? was first formulated, with ‚??Black Christmas‚?? (1974) there have been many spins on the concept, culminating in Scream (1996) mocking the well established concepts. However, a series which kept to its own merits was the Slumber Party Massacre series, which this film used female nudity and gore to reach its teenage male target audience. Two sequels down and the fourth in the series, lacks the Slumber Party prefix, but is the same except in name. However, where the film departs from the earlier films in name, it also appears to depart in quality.

With about four minutes of cheerleading in the film, the film's troubles are clear once it starts. The film‚??s shoddy production levels are apparent, which camera work and lighting (which amusingly) makes everyone look like they are blushing. Even with a sub-standard plot, a film can create enjoyment through humour and narrative, but this film lacks that, with deaths coming and going with no sense, and all the deaths lack tension because they happen off screen. The one on screen death we see, is so exceptionally fake and unrealistic, that it is difficult not to unintentionally laugh as a character gets really upset. The characters are characterless, and if female, seem to love nothing better than rubbing their breasts. With chocolate syrup. (Yes, really).

While it could be argued that its cheap production levels and lack of actual horror is a form of irony, when such scenes are drenched in ‚??scary‚?? music, it is difficult to agree that the director has a sense of humour, which is stressed when the film end absurdly, with a plot twist so insane, it had to have been made up on the spot. As such, this is one horror, that is scarier before watched.

A really low budget crapfest that has everything you would expect from a typical slasher flick, bad acting, horrible sound and picture production, and a hilariuosly funny storyline. This isn‚??t the worst horror/slasher flick I have ever seen but pretty close. Avoid if you don‚??t like cheap pointless films like this, plus if you enjoy blood and guts this one provides neither, all the killings happen off screen. I enjoy watching those types of effects and was very upset that the only on screen murder was so bloodless that I thought it was a joke of some sort.

Think of all those things you would expect from a movie with this title. Add them up. Subtract "cheerleader outfits" (WTF?). And that is what this movie is. AMAZING!

Also...the "deleted scene" is....ummmmm....yeah.

i bought it for 75 cents and it was the greatest investment of my life. it's like this group of people got drunk and said "lets make a movie!"

Very seldom is there a movie that I can honestly say its biggest drawback was having a plot. This would be one of them...

one should be ashamed to have made a movie of this calibur and to supposedly "continue" from the awesome slumber party massacre

Thank god this movie wasn't allowed to use the Slumber Party moniker because they were oscar winners compared to this terrible movie.

My friend owns this movie and I thought... it looks like a low-budget crapfest... I should watch it... if nothing else there's got to be some boobage. after doing some research (imdb and wikipedia) i discovered this film was originally going to be Slumber Party Massaacre 4 but the producers thought it was too crappy to put the SPM title in jeporody of losing face. So they just made it Cheerleader Massacre (despite the fact that it has flashbacks to the original Slumber Party Massacre, the star of the original playing her character again and the same killer... it's not connected anymore lol). There's just so much bad about this movie and the only plus is lots and lots of mammeries.

Crummy. I like bad movies, but this has no redeeming features at all.

There was about 4 minutes of cheerleading in this film which doesn't give the movie the right to use name in the title. Pretty much just a typical slasher film, a very bad slasher film.
