It's hard not to think about this situation without some dread and question, and the exceptional cast makes the story resonate. Plus the DVD has some great bonus features.

Among many pleasures, the DVD includes Cuaron's account of how he and his crew staged and shot the seminal car chases and bomb explosions, desconstruction of F/X elements, and treatise by philosophers and sociologists about life in the post 9/11 era.
