Movie Info

A disturned nineteen year old girl sets out to take revenge on the uncle she deems responsible for her father's recent suicide in this thriller from prolific Perfect Marriage director Douglas Jackson. Christie Coleman (Dani Kind)'s father is gone, and now the directionless teen will be forced to find her own way in a cruel and uncaring world. But Christie won't have to wander aimlessly for long, because now she's crafter a plan to make her Uncle Ray pay for the transgressions that drove her dad to suicide. Innocently moving in with Ray, his wife Miranda (Cynthia Gibb), and their teenage daughter Haley, Christie gradually ingratiates herself with the family while setting into motion a diabolical plan. They say we only hurt the ones we love, and in Christie's case that sentiment couldn't ring any truer. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I had no interest in Christie's Revenge until I recently saw it on TV. It was a very good movie with all the personal family issues. And I can say that Danielle Kind's a hottie - she's done a good acting performance here. The 19-year-old Christie Coleman has had a difficult life after her parents divorce. She overheard that her father Richard's successful brother Ray refused to loan Richard money to help him out. Christie, only 16 at the time, was the one to have found her father dead from suicide and vowed revenge on her uncle.

This movie was decent. I didn't think I was going to like it at first but turned out to be pretty good. Worth renting when there's nothing better to watch.
