After her father unexpectedly dies, young Ella (Lily James) finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and stepsisters, who reduce her to scullery maid. Despite her circumstances, she refuses to despair. There are moments of CGI animal nonsense that seem to exist completely separate from the live-action beauty Branagh has created, and that awkward juxtaposition leaves the entire film feeling uneven, at times admirable, and at others condemnable.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This is such a wonderful dream come true! Cinderella learns about having courage and being kind. From the transformations to the ballroom dance, this movie brings a lot of Disney magic into our home! The story takes place at a kingdom where Ella and the prince join together. And at the end of the film, they kiss at their wedding! Thanks for the magical moment of the movie!

This movie is the best live action that Disney has ever done and ever will do. This film will change the trajectory of your life. It teaches valuable lessons most of all about kindness and fashion. The music is exceptional you’ll never want these songs to leave your head. I was only ten when this film was first released and it was my absolute favourite and I would watch ten times over and to this day it is a classic and it is a film that I feel that everyone should watch at least once. There’s really something for everyone in the audience. Even the family cat. PUMPKIN! It teaches perseverance and the importance of success. Cinderellas commitment to her dress design is tear jerking. Genuinely a really good film! Always remember to trust in your fairy godmother!

A surprisingly fresh take on Cinderella! I honestly didn’t expect this adaptation to hit so hard, but the casting is incredible and the whole thing feels alive in a way the original never quite managed. The worldbuilding and storytelling are super sharp, with gorgeous costumes and a soundtrack that actually sticks with you. It’s faithful to the classic story but still manages to improve on it, especially with some absolutely perfect sequences and a fantastic second and third act. Overall, a really strong 4-star experience. I can totally recommend it—even if you’re not a Disney fan.
