Audience Reviews for Clearing the Range

This film is from the Mill Creek Westerns Collection 50 Movie Pack, but I'm sure that you can find it at or it may even be public domain. The story itself is about Curt Fremont Hoot Gibson) who has drifted into town to find the man responsible for killing his brother the head of the bank, he poses as a wimpy cowboy, knowing that Lafe Kildare the banks cashier is the killer who has taken over the bank foreclosing on all the ranchers in the area. Hoot is in secret El Captain Kind a take off of Zorro with out the mask and sword but has come to uncover all the wrong doings. The film is standard 1931 cheap production poor quality but I'm sure it made its rounds in 1931. 2 1/2 stars is my take on this one 11-19-12
