Audience Reviews for Comedian

Mickey Rooney and Rod Serling (Twilight Zone) team to make this one hell of an adventure. TV's Playhouse 90 was one great television series. Watch this only at: Sammy Hogarth, a vaudeville comedian who now has his own TV show, is a ruthless egomaniac who demands instant obedience from his staff and heaps abuse on those in lesser positions than he is... Rooney is incredible as the dominering star of his show. Director: John Frankenheimer Writers: Ernest Lehman (novelette) Rod Serling (Twilight Zone) Stars: Episode cast overview: Richard Joy ... Himself, Announcer (as Dick Joy) Mickey Rooney ... Sammy Hogarth Kim Hunter ... Julie Hogarth Edmond O'Brien ... Al Preston Mel Tormé ... Lester Hogarth Constance Ford ... Connie Whit Bissell ...
